Genomic Coordinate Lookup

Map GRCh38 nucleotide positions to UniProt residues and retrieve missense variant effect predictions from MissenseDB.

Coordinates are 1-based GRCh38. Intronic, intergenic, and synonymous positions will show as unmapped.

MissenseDB covers 18,292 / 19,436 reviewed Swiss-Prot human proteins (94.1%) with genomic coordinate mappings derived from the EBI Proteins API (GRCh38 / MANE Select).

Programmatic access: POST /missense_db/api/db/gencord with JSON body {"coords": ["chr17:7674220", ...], "enrich": false}. Append ?format=tsv for TSV output. See documentation.
